2. Formal Construction Contracts (California Law)
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: In California, a written contract is required for all home improvement projects over $500 in combined labor and materials costs. The formal contractual agreement for any construction project undertaken by MHM Construction Inc will be a separate, detailed, written document (a "Construction Contract") that includes specific provisions required by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB), such as price, payment schedule, project description, license number, and the right to cancel. Moreover, No project shall commence based solely on discussions or information presented on this website. A signed, formal Construction Contract is required before any work begins.
